Scott Cameron
Lecturer in mathematics education - The University of Melbourne
Dr Scott Cameron is a lecturer in mathematics education at the Faculty of Education, the University of Melbourne. In this role, Scott works to build the capacity of pre-service secondary mathematics teachers. This interest prompted Scott to complete a PhD which focussed on senior secondary students’ use of, attitudes towards, and factors influencing use of, Computer Algebra Systems. His current research interests include pre-service teacher education and the practices that support the development of effective secondary mathematics teachers, and the potential uses of Artificial Intelligence to support teachers in planning for effective mathematics teaching and learning.
