Sam Horrocks has been a secondary maths teacher for over 30 years, teaching in both the UK and Australia. She has had a range of different jobs in education but always come back to teaching students. For the last six years she has been a Learning Specialist for Maths and Numeracy at Northern Bay P-12 College, Corio and before that was Director of Curriculum and Head of Maths at Werribee Secondary College. She is a Master Trainer for Numeracy with the Victorian T & L Academy, worked with VCAA on VM Numeracy Units and with Melbourne University on Numeracy across the secondary curriculum. She is a passionate advocate for mathematics and numeracy across the secondary curriculum.
