Joanna trained in Eastern Europe as a secondary Mathematics school teacher. Her studies include a major in Mathematics and a two-year Physics course. She excelled in Mathematics and her degree literally provided her ticket to freedom. After a decade of teaching in Europe she moved to Australia where she completed a Post Graduate Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary Mathematics) at Charles Sturt University. Joanna started to work as a mathematician and an author of the popular Maths Mate resources. She is part of The Educational Advantage team, specialising in product development and curriculum alignment. Joanna believes knowledge brings freedom and that mathematics is central to our ability to understand and navigate the world we live in.
