Research identifies that teachers think financial education is important. However, they often lack confidence in this area, because they transact differently to young people, and they are unfamiliar with the sorts of modern financial contexts that can connect students’ real and mathematical worlds. In this workshop, participants will explore what primary students need from their financial education in an increasingly digitised financial world, and how you can influence change in this direction within your school.
